With a focus on comprehension & writing for exams, this course will be tailored to support your child’s English curriculum; this course can be used in preparation for entrance assessments at 7+, 11+, PreTest, or 13+, &/or enhancement of any aspect of school English.

Learning writing techniques & structures, language devices & description tools, your child will be supported in freeing imagination, writing skillfully & creatively, & finding their own style.

Journey through time to Ancient Greece, Rome &/or the Near East to explore these fascinating cultures’ mythologies & societies; sparked by the mummies of Ancient Egypt or the legends of Troy, your child will immerse themselves in an historical time period & write creatively. Elements of this course can take place at the British Museum.

This course can be adapted to any age & level; get your child inspired by reading, enjoying the process & building strong reading habits. Your child will be introduced to children’s writers & styles, for breadth of knowledge & to assist in discovery of their favourite genres.

Develop & hone skills for public speaking & debate; your child will be guided through the process of bullet pointing a strong argument, & delivering this will eloquence & flair. Great for interview preparation, assemblies, & persuasive writing for English or history.
