WONDER & INK TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. You may apply for membership of Wonder & Ink (“Membership”) via the membership application form on the Website, or via email application to request@wonderandink.com.
  2. Each application for Membership (“Membership Application”) is subject to acceptance by Wonder & Ink at Wonder & Ink’s sole discretion. Should your Membership Application be successful, Wonder & Ink shall notify you of acceptance via email; Membership shall commence once first payment has been received and notification of receipt and the commencement of your Membership (“Membership Commencement”)  has been sent to you by Wonder & Ink via email. Should your Membership Application be unsuccessful, Wonder & Ink will notify you of such via email; Wonder & Ink is under no duty or obligation to disclose reasons for application declination.
  3. Once notification of first payment receipt and Membership Commencement has been sent to you by Wonder & Ink, all Members’ Benefits shall be at your disposal for use until such time as your membership concludes (“Membership Conclusion Date”).
  4. Members’ Benefits include (and shall be defined herein as): 
  • Bi-weekly (every two weeks) copy of The Edit, containing current recommendations for you and your child;
  • Access to back copies of The Edit;
  • Access to all and any number of Wonder & Ink Experiences, to be booked and paid for separately within the bounds of your Membership; 
  • Access to Wonder & Ink services in creating bespoke Experiences of your choosing where possible and reasonable, to be requested, booked and paid for separately within the bounds of your Membership;
  • Access to Wonder & Ink’s agency services in connecting you with Experts from Wonder & Ink’s network of Experts, to work independently and separately with your child.
  1. Your Membership is personal to you, and you are responsible for ensuring that no-one, with the exception of a personal assistant on your behalf, uses your Membership for access to Members’ Benefits.
  2. The period of your Membership shall be from the date of Membership Commencement until the Membership Conclusion Date, during which time you shall receive The Edit, bi-weekly (every two weeks) recommendations for you and your child; The Edit shall be circulated to members on a specific date regardless of varying Membership Commencement dates; your first copy of The Edit shall be sent to you via email within 14 days of your Membership Commencement.
  3. All recommendations are correct at the time of The Edit publication and may be subject to detail changes beyond Wonder & Ink’s knowledge or control; all recommendations for non-Wonder-&-Ink experiences, events, resources etc as received through The Edit are subject to their own set of terms and conditions, separate and distinct from Wonder & Ink; Wonder & Ink is in no way liable for terms and conditions, safeguarding or privacy of any other company.
  4. Wonder & Ink receives or accepts no compensation from any company or individual for any recommendation as given through The Edit; Wonder & Ink accepts no liability should any recommendation show itself to have less than the recommended quality or benefit; all recommendations are independent and in no way affiliated with Wonder & Ink; should Wonder & Ink recommend one aspect, element or individual within an independent company, Wonder & Ink’s recommendation is limited to this aspect, element or individual only.
  5. Any contract entered into with a company or individual independent and separate from Wonder & Ink arising from an Edit recommendation is an independent contract, for any part of which, be-it in terms and conditions, safeguarding, privacy, or other, Wonder & Ink cannot be held liable. 

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION of MEMBERSHIP

  1. Membership fees are to be paid monthly in advance; Membership will commence once the first monthly payment has been received by Wonder & Ink and Membership Commencement notification is sent out, and continue monthly until such time as you give notice of cancellation or such time as Wonder & Ink gives notice of cancellation.
  2. Wonder & Ink shall send details upon successful Membership Application, at which time you shall be asked to supply such details as are necessary for Wonder & Ink to set up a membership account for you, and deduct membership fees monthly until such time as you give notice of cancellation or such time as Wonder & Ink gives notice of cancellation.
  3. Payment details shall be used for necessary purposes of payment of Membership Fees only.
  4. All details shared by you with Wonder & Ink are subject to Privacy and Data Protection as set out in Wonder & Ink’s Privacy Policy. Wonder & Ink shall take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that all details are treated securely and in accordance with Wonder & Ink’s Privacy Policy.
  5. All details shared by you with Wonder & Ink must be correct at time of sharing; should any details change during the period of your Membership, you must notify Wonder & Ink immediately, such that all details Wonder & Ink hold regarding contact and payment are up to date and correct.
  6. From time to time, in line with VAT increase, inflation or company expansion, there may be a slight membership fee increase; should this be the case, Wonder & Ink shall notify you of such in advance, and you shall have the opportunity to end your Membership should you wish  to do so before any such fee increase be implemented.
  7. Membership is monthly and will automatically renew each month until you cancel. 
  8. Cancellation of Membership: Should you wish to cancel your Membership, please notify Wonder & Ink in writing via email to request@wonderandink.com; cancellation will take effect at the end of the month for which you have already paid and no earlier; should you wish for cancellation to take effect at a later date, please notify Wonder & Ink of such in your email, and further monthly payments shall be taken to cover the months up until the specified date; should you wish to end your Membership part way through a month, full payment for that month shall be taken by Wonder & Ink and the Membership Conclusion Date be set to the end of that month; once Wonder & Ink has received notification of cancellation, Wonder & Ink shall send you via email receipt of notification and confirmation of your Membership Conclusion Date.
  9. On your Membership Conclusion Date, all Members’ Benefit shall cease to be available to you for use; you will no longer be able to book Experiences; any outstanding Experiences which have not been completed by the Membership Conclusion Date shall be honoured should you wish, or can be cancelled and you shall be compensated in line with Wonder & Ink’s cancellation policy.
  10. On your Membership Conclusion Date, all personal data held by Wonder & Ink for the purposes of your Membership shall be deleted in line with Wonder & Ink’s Privacy Policy, unless otherwise requested by you in writing via email.
  11. At any time during your Membership, Wonder & Ink retains the right to cancel your Membership, should Wonder & Ink be given reasonable understanding that you have failed to comply with any clause herein, or in the extreme case that Wonder & Ink has change of policy requiring new Membership conditions; should Wonder & Ink cancel your Membership, notification of such shall be sent by Wonder & Ink via email in which shall be given your Membership Conclusion Date; Wonder & Ink is under no duty or obligation to disclose reasons for Membership cancellation.

EXPERIENCES

  1. Wonder & Ink runs bespoke half-day workshops conducted by a Wonder & Ink Expert at a location of your choice (“Wonder & Ink Experiences” or “Experiences”). Wonder & Ink Experiences are subject to Wonder & Ink’s Privacy Policy, and Safeguarding Policy, inclusive of any Experiences created at your specific request and design requirements.
  2. You may request to book a Wonder & Ink Experience via the website application form or by email via request@wonderandink.com.
  3. In or upon application to book an Experience, you will be asked to supply details of convenient dates, venue and times, and may be asked to supply further details for relevant teaching, learning, health, and safeguarding purposes; once all relevant details have been supplied by you, Wonder & Ink shall arrange an appropriate prospective Experience send details via email for your approval.
  4. An Experience is only considered booked by Wonder & Ink once details of date, location and time have been approved by you via email, payment given and receipt of payment by Wonder & Ink has been sent.
  5. Wonder & Ink shall seek to arrange an Experience to suit your requirements and practical details of time and location; you acknowledge that it may not be possible for Wonder & Ink to arrange Experiences to suit all specific requirements and practical details, and that Wonder & Ink is under no duty or obligation to arrange Experiences to suit any specific requirements or practical details.
  6. Wonder & Ink Experience fees are taken in full at time of booking.
  7. Wonder & Ink Experience fees can vary given specific requirements for you and levels of qualification and celebrity of the Expert leading the Experience; all fees shall be laid out clearly to you for your approval before fees are taken; you are under no obligation to accept and pay fees; in the case of non-acceptance of fees, booking shall not be made and no Experience be carried out; you may request similar Experience at alternative fee; Member accepts that Wonder & Ink is under no obligation or duty to arrange an alternative Experience.
  8. Cancellation of an Experience: should extenuating circumstances lead you to need to cancel an Experience, please give immediate notice of to request@wonderandink.com; if notice be given outside of 72 hours of the Experience commencement time, Wonder & Ink shall do all reasonable to rearrange the Experience and if no possible rearrangement time and date can be found Wonder & Ink shall give full refund; if within 72 hours Experience commencement time, Wonder & Ink shall do all reasonably possible to rearrange the Experience, but if no date and time can be found Wonder & Ink shall be under no duty or obligation to give any refund.
  9. Non-Members may apply to purchase one singular Experience before signing up for Membership; in this case a ‘taster’ membership shall be temporarily set up, which shall include all terms herein with the exception of receipt of any other Members’ Benefit; only necessary details shall be kept by Wonder & Ink and all details shall be deleted on the date of the Experience; in this case, Non-Members are responsible for applying for no further Experiences from Wonder & Ink unless in the case of subsequent successful Membership Application, and of deleting all details relating to Wonder & Ink Experts, as per Wonder & Ink’s Privacy Policy.
  10. In any case that Wonder & Ink is unable to fulfil an Experience due to events outside Wonder & Ink’s control, including unexpected illness of an Expert, Wonder & Ink shall make all reasonable effort to rearrange such to a time and date convenient for you; should no convenient time and date be found, or should you choose to be refunded with no attempt at rearrangement, Wonder & Ink shall refund you in full; Wonder & Ink shall not be liable for any losses incurred by you as a result of a cancelled or rearranged Experience.
  11. All Experiences are subject to Wonder & Ink’s Safeguarding Policy; you may ask to see the Risk Assessment for any Experience in advance, if you wish.
  12. As a Member, you acknowledge that in most cases Experiences shall take place at your home or location of your choosing and hereby acknowledge that Safeguarding of these locations is your responsibility and not the responsibility of Wonder & Ink, as part of which a responsible adult other than the Expert shall be at all times in loco parentis and in the vicinity to be called upon if required or in case of an emergency; Wonder & Ink and Wonder & Ink Experts shall be responsible for Safeguarding only with respect to the Experience, as laid out in Wonder & Ink’s Safeguarding Policy.
  13. Where the Experience is taking place in your home or a location of your choosing, you are responsible for ensuring that the space is appropriate for the Experience, and of informing Wonder & Ink at time of booking of any relevant details that may need to be taken into consideration by the Expert when carrying out the Experience; Wonder & Ink shall be responsible for providing all materials and equipment necessary for the Experience, unless your child’s own materials or equipment would be most beneficial for your child’s use, for example in the case of music, sport, photography etc; all of your child’s own materials are the responsibility of you and your child and not the Expert or Wonder & Ink.
  14. In some cases, an Experience may take place at a public location, for example a museum, gallery, studio, arena or the like; in this case, a permission form shall be sent to you at the time of booking, along with links to the locations own Safeguarding Policy and the Risk Assessment for the Experience; at this juncture you may choose whether to provide a responsible adult to attend the Experience, in whose care you will place the Safeguarding of your child, in loco parentis, or whether to sign an additional form to give care in loco parentis to the Expert leading the Experience.
  15. At the time of your acceptance of Membership, you shall be asked to provide relevant medical, behavioural and learning details for your child; it is your duty to keep this information up to date with Wonder & Ink, and add to it any further details which come to light as relevant in connection with a specific Experience; should any details come to light after booking which may reasonably impinge upon the effectiveness of the Experience, Wonder & Ink reserves the right to cancel the Experience, for which rearrangement or refund shall be given or not in line with Wonder & Ink’s cancellation policies.
  16. All Experiences are subject to Wonder & Ink’s Privacy Policy, from time to time Wonder & Ink may ask permission for an Expert to take a photograph, video or voice recording of your child for the purposes of the Experience, for example as part of the created product such as a short film, or for example as part of technique analysis such as for tennis, or in rare cases for Wonder & Ink’s own purposes, such as an example Experience on the website; in all cases your express permission shall be asked in advance and no photograph, video or voice recording be taken unless your express permission be granted in advance in writing via email; the proposed uses or use of the photograph, video or voice recording shall be laid out clearly by Wonder & Ink at time of asking, and should permission be granted, the photograph, video or voice recording shall be used for these uses or use only; you are under no duty or obligation to give permission for any photograph, video or voice recording to be made of your child.

EXPERTS (Agency Services)

  1. You may request to Wonder & Ink agent services in connecting you with a relevant Expert via the website application form or by email via request@wonderandink.com.
  2. Upon receiving your enquiry, you will be asked to provide information such as preferred dates, location, times, and any relevant teaching, learning, health, or safeguarding details. These details will be shared with potential Experts in our network for consideration. Wonder & Ink will introduce you only to Experts who confirm their interest and availability to work with you.
  3. Wonder & Ink acts as a disclosed agent for the Experts we represent. This means:
  • The contract for services is formed directly between you (the Member) and the Expert;
  • Wonder & Ink facilitates the introduction, administrative communication, and payment process on behalf of the Expert;
  • Wonder & Ink receives and holds payments from you as agent for the Expert;
  • The Expert acts independently of Wonder & Ink and is not under their supervision, direction or control, and is responsible and liable for the content of the lessons.
  1. You are under no obligation to proceed with a proposed Expert or fee. In cases where you choose not to accept, no payment will be taken.
  2. All Expert fees communicated to you will include VAT (where applicable), and a VAT invoice will be issued by Wonder & Ink on behalf of the Expert, clearly indicating teh Expert as the principal supplier.
  3. Once a session is agreed and confirmed via email, payment in full is required and must be received by Wonder & Ink before the session is considered booked.
  4. Refunds or rescheduling will be handled in line with the cancellation policy communicated to you at the time of booking on behalf of the Expert.

All vetting and introduction arranged through this agency relationship remain subject to Wonder & Ink’s Privacy Policy and Safeguarding Policy.
