This short course explores the limitless nature of art. From paintings & sculptures to videos & sound installations, your child will discover the movements & rule-breaking of the modern art-world, while experimenting with their own styles & tastes in a series of activities.

What do painters paint & why? What messages are hidden on canvas? What emotions or thoughts come to us when we look at paintings with different themes? In this short course, your child will solve puzzles, learn symbolism, & come to appreciate the meaning behind some of the world’s finest art.

For those inspired by myths, legends & philosophies that shaped the modern world, this short course looks at some of the oldest examples of art, at the British Museum, & the stories held within them.
